Asset Condition:
Lighting & Electrical Assessments
MCS was tasked with investigating the condition and performance of the electrical and lighting equipment across multiple sites. This work involved drone photography, detailed lighting reviews and electrical equipment inspections for over 500 assets.
Charging Systems:
Electrical Design & Project Management
MCS was tasked with the design and project management of new electric shunting vehicle charging points across New Zealand. Being a 'first' for New Zealand this was an exciting project that required extensive client and vehicle supplier liaison. .
Power Reticulation Systems:
Electrical & Lighting Design
MCS was tasked with the design of new power reticulation and area lighting for the Whangarei container terminal. This work involved upgrading the incoming supply, power supplies for multiple refrigerated containers, and two new 30m high-mast flooding towers.
Lighting Systems:
Lighting Performance & Upgrade
MCS was tasked with the review of current lighting performance plus establishing the business case information for an upgrade to LED lighting at a major mail centre. Through optimised design and product selection energy and CO2 savings in excess of 60% were achieved.
